Our commitment to privacy

Glysimi is built with privacy at its core. Your health data is personal and should stay under your control. This privacy policy explains exactly how we handle your information.

The short version: We don’t collect, access, or share any of your personal or health data. Ever.

What we don’t collect

  • Personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • Health data (blood sugar readings, insulin doses, food logs)
  • Usage analytics or tracking data
  • Location information
  • Device identifiers

We literally cannot see your data. Glysimi is designed so that your information never leaves your control.

How your data is stored

On your device All Glysimi data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple’s secure Core Data framework.

iCloud sync (optional) If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. This sync is:

  • Completely optional
  • Encrypted during transmission and storage
  • Handled entirely by Apple’s servers
  • Accessible only through your iCloud account

We never have access to your iCloud data. Apple handles all the encryption and security.

Data export and portability

You own your data, period. You can:

  • Export your complete history anytime in CSV or JSON format
  • Take your data to any other app or service
  • Delete all data by uninstalling the app

No vendor lock-in. Your data belongs to you.

Third-party services

Glysimi doesn’t use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service is Apple’s CloudKit for optional iCloud sync, which is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

App Store and payments

App Store purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We don’t receive or store any payment information.

Children’s privacy

Glysimi is not intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever need to update this privacy policy, we’ll notify users through the app and post the updated policy here with a new “last updated” date.
